- Um exemplo da convergência da energia cinética turbulenta é apresentada na Figura 21 do trabalho de Vandernoot et al. (2008). Observe que na seção 5.3.3, o autores relatam superficialmente:

"Figure 21 shows the statistical convergences of the axial vorticity and the turbulent kinetic energy at the vortex centre in the corrected and uncorrected cases. The dimensional values are normalized by the values obtained with 2000 samples. The results based on 400 samples are converged within less than 1% for the vorticity and about 10% for the turbulence. Besides, the corrected profiles seem to be less noisy probably due to the removal of the wandering which is an unsteady phenomenon."
